People ruining my Christmas Eve.
Ever get tired of getting close to people?

You feel like you’ve lost so much and you can’t handle to get really close with someone, just to lose them again. There’s been times more than once where you thought this time would be different, but you end up losing that person in the end. So you just lose hope in thinking anything in your life will last.

but I think to myself, why would you talk to me when you never put effort into our conversations from before. Then it makes me feel like i’m a bother and you probably have somebody better to talk to. So i never hit you up even though i’m dying to talk to you inside.

Seeing someone you used to be close to, but don’t talk to anymore. You kind of just look at each other, and maybe say hi, or just walk away and pretend you never saw them. You act like you never even knew each other to begin with, like strangers.

I don’t care how old you are, if you’re older than me or if you’re younger than me. If you respect me, I respect you. but if you’re rude, why would I respect you? Respect goes both ways.
